A note to pastors from Thom Ewing, Station Manager of WAY-FM 88.1, North Alabama.

Regarding encouraging young adults to attend local churches
Pastors' Prayer Summit,
WAY-FM is concerned with the declining church attendance and involvement particularly in the 20 – 29 demographic. To those ends, we would like to work with local churches to find people in this approximate age group whose lives have been enriched by their local church experiences and can express that well. Any people that fit this category from your church could be emailed to tim@wayfm.com. We’d need: name, phone #, email address and maybe a good time that they might be available to come to the station to be recorded answering questions like the following.
1. What is it that gets you out of bed for church on Sundays? Music, community, message, etc.
2. How does that aspect of church influences your week and your life in general?
3. What opportunities does your church give you to do something outside yourself? Teach, lead, mission trips, etc.
4. Do those things add meaning and purpose to your life? How?
We will air announcements directed toward 20-29 year olds in the future encouraging involvement with church that will include some of these comments.
